Little Angels Rescue of FL is Folk Tails Featured Rescue for August

Little Angels Rescue, a small breed dog non-profit rescue located in Arcadia, Florida, is Folk Tails' August 2003 Featured Rescue. Folk Tails (www.folktails.net), an online unique pet themed gift store that donates a portion of all proceeds to animal welfare organizations, chooses a different rescue organization to feature each month.

With the majority of the rescue organizations participating in the program being in Folk Tails' home state of California, they searched for a group that was doing valuable rescue work in another state. Founder and owner Christina Kilby came across Little Angels Rescue when searching for groups to contact on Petfinder.com. "I visited their website and was immediately impressed with the work they do on behalf of purebred and mixed breed dogs in their community" said Kilby.

Once August is over, customers can still choose to have their purchases benefit Little Angels Rescue, or any of the other 21 participating organizations, by typing their name in the order form during checkout. "I wanted to make it easy for customers to purchase unique items while also giving back to the animal welfare community" stated Kilby.
